QR-Decode is a tool designed to scan QR codes and barcodes, displaying their contents directly on the device. When a URL is included in the scanned data, it allows for immediate navigation to the corresponding webpage.

Launching QR-Decode initiates the scanning process automatically. Users can switch between the front and rear cameras using the camera toggle button located at the top right corner of the screen.

The display of web pages occurs within an internal web view or through an external browser. When web content is shown via the web view, tapping the top-left back button returns to the scanning interface.

Through the system Settings application, users can configure several parameters:

1. Camera position (front or rear): Sets which camera to utilize for scanning.
2. Browsing method (None / Safari / Web view): Determines how URLs are opened, with None displaying only scanned data if no browsing method is selected.
3. History (On / Off): Enables or disables saving scan history.

QR-Decode supports custom URL schemes to facilitate more advanced interactions. It can be launched via such schemes to perform functions like adding GET parameters to URLs or navigating back to a specified page.

Usage pattern:

qrdecode://[?additional_parameters][#return_url]

Example of launch URL:

If you set the browsing method to Web view and open a link like:

qrdecode://?a=1&b=2#http://back.xxx/

and scan a QR code containing: http://open.xxx/

• The web view will automatically open, displaying http://open.xxx/?a=1&b=2.
• You can tap the Scan button to return to scanning mode.
• Tapping the Back arrow button will load http://back.xxx/. If this URL points back to the page that launched QR-Decode, it effectively returns to that page in the browser context.
